Regulations

For reservations made via our secure online booking system at www.lescabanesgirondines.fr, the full amount of the stay will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking.

For reservations made by phone or email through our booking service, the full amount of the stay must be paid by check or bank transfer at the time of booking. In this case, the reservation will be held for 8 days. The receipt of payment within this period will confirm the booking. Please note: your booking option may be canceled in case of late payment, with the option period set at 8 days.

Withdrawal

A 7-day withdrawal period from the date of booking is granted, regardless of the booking method. In case of cancellation, we will charge a flat administrative fee of €30.

Modification or Cancellation

For any modification or cancellation, a written request will be systematically required. Your booking reference number must be mentioned in the subject line.

Force Majeure (Covid-19 and other declared pandemics):

Unless otherwise stipulated by decree or ordinance, a gift voucher equal to the value of your initial stay, valid for 24 months, will be offered for any stay that could not be honored due to the following reasons:

•In case of new government measures (travel restrictions, national or local lockdown, closure of establishments or borders, etc.) preventing your visit, upon presentation of proof of residence.

• If one of the occupants tests positive, is a contact case, or if the minor child of one of the occupants tests positive for Covid-19 (or another virus declared as a pandemic), upon presentation within 24 hours of proof from the health insurance.

Cancellation before your stay by yourself

In the event of serious illness, serious accident, or death of a registered occupant, the stay will be fully refunded upon presentation of a medical certificate or death certificate.

In the event of serious illness, serious accident, or death of a family member not staying in one of our accommodations, the stay will be postponed free of charge within 12 months following the cancellation, upon presentation of a medical certificate or death certificate only. No refund can be requested.

For any stay canceled and not covered by the above cancellation clauses, the following conditions apply:

• More than 30 days before the arrival date: 20% of the accommodation amount will be retained.

• Between 30 and 15 days before the stay: 50% of the accommodation amount will be retained.

• For any stay canceled within the 15 days prior to the arrival date, interrupted or not consumed, the total amount of the reserved stay will be due or retained by Les Cabanes Girondines

Modification before your stay

Any booking modification more than 30 days before the arrival date will incur a flat fee of €60.

Less than 30 days before your stay, the booking date cannot be modified.

Modification or cancellation of the stay by Les Cabanes Girondines

In the event of external circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather (storm or heavy rain), we may be required to modify or cancel your stay for safety reasons. In this case, we will offer to reschedule your stay to a later date within the next 12 months.

If this offer does not suit you, all amounts paid will be refunded, and no other compensation can be claimed.

If your booking results from a gift voucher, the general terms and conditions concerning Gift Vouchers apply (section 4): Gift Vouchers are non-refundable. Your booking can be rescheduled free of charge within the next 12 months.

Modification or cancellation of the stay by Les Cabanes Girondines on site

In case of an Orange weather alert, with external circumstances beyond our control such as severe weather, storm, or heavy rain, management reserves the right to cancel your night in the cabin for safety reasons.

Alternative accommodation in other types of lodging will be offered according to our availability at no extra cost. In this case only, you will benefit from a 50% discount on your next equivalent stay within the next 12 months. No other compensation can be claimed.

If no alternative accommodation is available, all amounts paid will be refunded, or a date postponement will be offered within the next 12 months.

Modification or cancellation of the stay by yourself on site

In case of refusal to access your cabin (fear, vertigo, etc.), no compensation will be provided.

Purchase and booking with a gift voucher

Validity of gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months. They can be used on any day when the Domain is open. A prior reservation is mandatory. The validity date can be extended by six months for a flat fee of €60. Gift vouchers are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Cancellation before your stay

In the event of serious illness, serious accident, or death of an occupant or a family member not staying in the Cabin, the stay will be postponed free of charge within 12 months following the cancellation, upon presentation of a medical certificate or death certificate only. No refund can be requested.

For any stay canceled and not covered by the above cancellation clauses, the full amount of the reserved stay will be due or retained by Les Cabanes Girondines.

Modification before your stay

Less than 30 days before your stay, the booking date cannot be modified.

More than 30 days before your stay, the modification can be made, while respecting the validity date of your gift voucher and subject to a flat fee of €60.

In the event of external circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather (storm or heavy rain), we may have to modify or cancel your stay for safety reasons. In this case, we will offer to extend the validity of your gift voucher free of charge for 12 months.

Modification or cancellation of stay by yourself on site

In the event of refusal to access your cabin (fear, vertigo, etc.), no compensation will be provided.

Security deposit

Upon arrival, you will be asked for a €300 security deposit to cover, if necessary, the costs related to damage, theft of equipment, or more generally the restoration of the accommodations.

Capacity

Our accommodations are designed for a maximum number of occupants. For safety and insurance reasons, we ask that you respect this clause. Any failure to comply will result in us refusing you access to the reserved accommodation or immediately ending your stay. In this case, you will not be entitled to relocation to a higher-capacity accommodation or to any compensation.

We therefore kindly ask you to pay particular attention to this point when confirming your booking.

Similarly, the rental cannot in any case, even partially, benefit third parties, individuals, or legal entities.

Any breach of these clauses may result in the immediate termination of the rental at the tenant’s expense, with the rental amount remaining definitively acquired by SARL MAILLET.

Rates

Our rates include all applicable taxes. Only the rates displayed on our website are authoritative.

Children

For safety reasons, our cabins cannot accommodate children under 8 years old. The age of children is determined based on their birthday and the start date of the stay. An official document proving the child’s age may be requested at the start of the stay.

Special Conditions

Access to all Cabins is prohibited for people prone to vertigo, sleepwalking, or with untreated heart or vision problems.

Animals

Pets are not allowed in our accommodations or anywhere on the Domain.

Valuables

We recommend not leaving valuables in the accommodations. Management cannot be held responsible for thefts in the accommodations.

An unsupervised parking lot is available; we also ask that you do not leave valuables there, as we disclaim all responsibility in case of damage or theft of vehicles and belongings.

Complaints

Any complaint regarding a stay must be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt within a few days following your stay to the following address:

Alcohol and Smoking Policy

It is strictly forbidden to be intoxicated and/or under the influence of drugs anywhere on the Domain (including accommodations, trails, stairs, walkways, parking lot, etc., without limitation). Any violation of this rule will result in immediate expulsion without the possibility of compensation.

Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodations. All our cabins are equipped with terraces where you are allowed to smoke, provided that no cigarette butts are left behind or thrown into nature.

Disputes

In the event of a dispute, either the court of your place of residence at the time of signing the contract or the court of Bordeaux will have jurisdiction.

YOUR STAY

In case of late arrival or last-minute impediment, it is imperative to notify our team. A supplement of €10 will be charged for arrivals after 7:30 p.m.

Your stay will take place in the heart of a natural Domain. During your walks, please stay on the paths and respect the tranquility of the site. Thank you for your understanding!

During your stay, we ask that you comply with all safety instructions as explained by our reception agent.

On the day of your departure, accommodations must be vacated before 11 a.m. We ask that you leave the premises as clean as possible.

By accepting these general terms and conditions of sale, I acknowledge that my stay will take place in the heart of nature, with the challenges it may present: variable weather, the presence of insects, birds, and mammals near the accommodations, and the possibility of encountering them indoors as well.
